What's in Juvenu?

At Juvenu, we believe that skin care should be about simplicity and effectiveness, not marketing hype and false promises.

We believe that less is more when it comes to skin care. By simplifying your skincare routine and incorporating probiotics into your regimen, you can help promote a healthy environment for your skin's naturally occurring bacteria to thrive, ultimately resulting in healthier, happier skin

Our products are free from harsh chemicals, artificial fragrances, and unnecessary additives that can irritate the skin.

Juvenu's products all contain Sanarever®, a peptide-rich intensive recovery agent that supports the body's natural probiotics in the gastrointestinal system. Sanarever® is created through the fermentation of non-GMO soybean and contains bioactive peptides, enzymes, amino acids, and short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs), which are essential for promoting overall health.

Sanarever® restores the skin and hair to its natural balance, maintaining moisture and shine, and stimulating collagen production, which is crucial for anti-aging. It is clinically proven to stabilize recovery, improve facial details, brighten skin, and support firmness and natural elasticity. Juvenu's formula is ideal for sensitive, dry, or red skin, and is effective in lightening fine lines.

Juvenu’s probiotic supplements include a medical-grade, high-concentration formula that is rich in antimicrobial peptides. The peptides help alleviate dryness and strengthen the skin’s natural defenses against allergens.

Every drop of the Intensive and All-in-One serums is our patented, highly concentrated fermentation broth. Juvenu does not dilute the formulas with water, which helps the products retain the maximum effectiveness of the active ingredients.

All products contain no fragrances; however, you may notice the smell of natural fermentation.

For very sensitive skin or skin suffering from Rosacea:

Use Intensive serum for inflamed skin, our products are highly potent, with a high concentration of active ingredients. Some users may feel a slight tingling sensation upon first use, similar to chemical exfoliants. If you have sensitive skin, dilute the serum with water or Miracle brightening serum. Gradually incorporate new products into your skincare routine to avoid overloading your skin.

Products containing fermented ingredients tend to be potent and may potentially cause reactions in sensitive skin. They should be used with some caution.

● Sodium lactate:

Source: corn.

Sodium lactate is the sodium salt of lactic acid, a compound produced by the neutralization of fermented sugar sources such as corn or sugar beets. In cosmetics, this ingredient retains moisture, stabilizes pH, and helps exfoliate dead skin cells. The advantage of sodium lactate in cosmetics is that it supports the natural moisturizing factor or NMF for short. Sodium Lactate is able to bind moisture and increase the skin's moisture content, ensuring that the skin remains supple and wrinkles are reduced.

● 1.3-Propanediol :

Source: corn.

Extracted from natural corn, it is a moisturizer like glycerin. It is a mild polyol and a small molecule moisturizing ingredient. It locks moisture in the stratum corneum and can effectively capture the moisture needed by the skin to achieve a moisturizing effect. Refreshing than glycerin. Increases skin gloss, forms a protective film on the skin surface, prevents moisture loss, and has a bactericidal effect. Safe for acne-prone skin.

In general, propanediol is considered to have lower potential for skin irritation compared to propylene glycol. The source of propylene glycol is petrochemical, which has a primary irritating effect on the skin.

● Pentylene Glycol:

Source: Sugar Beets.

Pentylene glycol is a synthetic compound that is used as a humectant, which means it helps to keep the skin hydrated by preventing water loss. It is also used as a preservative to help extend the shelf life of skincare products.

The Cosmetic Ingredient Review Expert Panel, an independent group of scientists who evaluate the safety of cosmetic ingredients, has reviewed pentylene glycol and concluded that it is safe for use in cosmetic products at concentrations up to 50%.

Additionally, pentylene glycol has a low risk of causing irritation or sensitization, which makes it suitable for use in skincare products for all skin types, including sensitive skin.

● Phenoxyethanol:

Phenoxyethanol is a widely used preservative in cosmetics and personal care products, including baby cleaning and skin care products, due to its effectiveness in preventing microbial growth and its low potential for skin irritation and sensitization.

In the European Union, the use of preservatives in cosmetics and personal care products is regulated by the Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009. This regulation includes strict safety requirements and maximum concentration limits for preservatives, including phenoxyethanol. In particular, the regulation sets a maximum concentration limit of 1% for phenoxyethanol in cosmetics, and preservatives used in baby products are subject to even stricter regulations to ensure their safety.

Phenoxyethanol has been extensively studied for its safety, and the available data indicates that it is a safe and effective preservative when used within the prescribed concentration limits. However, as with all cosmetic ingredients, it is important to use phenoxyethanol-containing products as directed and to follow any precautionary measures provided by the manufacturer.

● Chlorphenesin:

It has been used as a preservative in medicine for many years. Recommended dosage: 0.1-0.3%

* Drugs commonly used against common skin fungi

* Conforms to the US (FDA), European Union (EU), and Chinese standards for the safe use of preservatives, with an upper limit of 0.3%.

Only Japan restricts the direct use of chlorphenesin in eyeliner, lip and oral mucosal products.

● Xanthan gum:

Source: Sugar.

Adhesive and viscosity control agent, which can provide moisturizing effect to the skin, has a refreshing and lubricating texture, can increase the viscosity of the liquid, and help stabilize the emulsified emulsion to prevent oil-water separation.

● Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice:

Source: Aloe Vera Leaf.

Anti-inflammatory agent, Aloe Vera contains various amino acids, mucopolysaccharides, and zinc that provide skin integrity, and help retain moisture.

● Sodium Hyaluronate :

Sodium hyaluronate is an ingredient derived from hyaluronic acid, a substance that occurs naturally in your body, including your skin and joint fluid. It is widely used for beauty purposes and added to various cosmetics to improve skin water retention and relieve wrinkles.
